This sewing class is for very beginners and teaches how to thread a sewing machine, thread and load a bobbin, sew a straight stitch, sew a curve, pivot, and more. It also includes hands-on instruction on how to sew a Japanese knot bag. Sewing machines and materials are provided. Ages 16 and up.

Hoods are versatile and used on many character designs. Use what you learn in this class and incorporate it into your cosplay! This hooded scarf is beautiful enough for every-day wear if you’re not a cosplayer.
This sewing class is for beginners/ beyond beginners and teaches how to sew a reversible hooded scarf with a lining. Students should know how to do a straight stitch on a sewing machine. You will learn how to understitch and topstitch for clean and crisp-looking garments.
Sewing machines and materials except fabric are provided. Ages 16 and up

Private Sewing Lessons
$35-45
This option is best for people who want instruction on their own sewing machine, kids ages 6-16, homeschooled students, people who are not able to make the times/days of my group classes, and anyone who would benefit from private instruction.
Rates vary: Kids ages 6-12: 45 minute lessons. The curriculum for ages 6-12 start with paper, staples, hand sewing, and then progresses to machine sewing: $35 per lesson
Teens and adults over the age of 13: One hour lessons that start on the sewing machine. Hand sewing by request. $45 per lesson.
$5 fee for travel up to 20 miles
